Handicraft Material for Mini Grasping Rings:

Step 1: Experimenting With Beads

Your chosen handicraft material for a mini grasping ring is ready? Great! So let's start!

Place the beads and the ring in the order in which you would like to create the mini grasping ring. At this step you still have the possibility to try different designs and exchange beads.

As each motif bead is different in size, you should also test how many beads you need within the wooden ring by placing it on the table: The inner diameter is 62 mm.

Step 2: Preparing the Stringing

Double the PP-polyester cord so that it's slightly longer than your prepared mini grasping ring design.

Thread a piece of sewing thread into a needle. Knot the sewing thread tightly at the end of the cord's loop. We've just created a practical stringing aid.

Step 3: Stringing the First Two Beads

Take the cord and use the needle to easily string a lens bead and a safety bead, the latter with its larger hole pointing outward. Double knot the cord at the end. Weld the knot with a lighter and let it disappear into the safety bead.

If necessary, press the knot properly into the opening by using tweezers.

Step 4: Stringing the Wooden Ring

Now string the cord through one of the wooden ring's two holes.

Step 5: Stringing More Beads

String all wooden beads as well as the motif bead and the little bell that you want to be inside of the wooden ring.

Step 6: Finishing the Wooden Ring's Inner Part

String the cord through the wooden ring's second hole.

Step 7: Making the Last Bead's Stringing Aid

String a lens bead. Cut the loop and remove the needle as well as the thread.

Make a simple knot behind the lens bead. Lightly melt one of both cord ends with the lighter. Press it as flat as possible with your fingers.

Also melt the other cord end with the lighter and weld it slightly offset underneath the other one. Press it as flat as possible as well.

Step 8: Finishing the Mini Grasping Ring

Using the upper cord end, string a second safety bead with the larger hole pointing outward. Push the safety bead over the simple knot.

Knot the cord end twice and weld it. Let the knot disappear in the security bead. If necessary you can use tweezers to push the knot properly into the safety bead.
